LMU journal, cannabis could cure COVID19, just no proof yet

Interesting publication from LMU(Loyola Marymount University) showing cannabis could be the green solution for the current COVID19 crisis.

LMU(Loyola Marymount University)

Andy McCoy in the Global Learning section suggested that despite of numerous studies showing the potentials of the medicinal benefits of cannabis, it is yet to be tested in human being. Furthermore, Andy McCoy noted that cannabis have numerous therapudic benefits such as anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-inflamation which makes it the best candidate for COVID19 cure. Probably it could be because of the legality issue?

Recently HKU(Hong Kong University) researchers also published a survey result from medical students regarding medical cannabis.

However, depsite of this scientific researchs and studies showing the potential of cannabis, Hong Kong is going backward from 420. In Hong Kong, the regulatory body is even trying to ban free sales of CBD, which is controvertial considering the bespoken medical benefits of cannabis.

Currently there is no restriction for trading CBD products, but soon it would be disappeared from the public domain and be precribed under special occasions.

COVID19

However it is getting clearer and clearer day by day that cannabis clearly does not fit into the harmful drug categories, and it is benefitial to human being providing medicinal and theraputical value. Even more, cannabis is shown that it could stop SARS-CoV-2 and mutant virus to replicate. Also cannabis stops the cytokine storm, which is said to be the main cause of death after COVID19.

We need to legalize cannabis and let the cure flow to people and stop COVID19. Why not try One Country Two Systems platform in Hong Kong, and legalize cannabis to see if it works on COVID19?

South Korea cannabis legalization efforts unveils HiGH KOREA project

South Korea national flag

While the news that cannabis can cure COVID19 and stop SARS-CoV-2 it is notable that a rather reclusive country Korea is also planning to legalize it completely. HiGH KOREA(하이코리아 in Korean) aims to lift up and remove the wrong beliefs of cannabis in Korea. Activism website HiGH KOREA is trying legalization in Korea. Interesting because Hong Kong also want cannabis to be legalized. Well, maybe not, because obviously COVID19 is not a regional issue but a global issue which needs to be addressed and solved. Cannabis can cure COVID19.
